AKPA Kimya produces organic peroxides, initiators, accelerators, and paint dryers used in the composite, petrochemical, and paint sectors.
In this facility, which has a total indoor and outdoor area of over 100,000 m2, very special industrial applications have been implemented for fire detection and control systems.
Fire detection is carried out throughout the facility with over 10 km of fiber optic sensor cables.
Additionally, in the facility where a rooftop solar power plant (SPP) has been implemented, protection against fire risks in the SPP is provided with 8 km of fiber optic sensor cables.
Over 100 ex-proof SIL2 approved flame detectors (IR5, UV+IR3, UV+IR2, IR3) are used in the facility.
The entire system is managed through a DCS SCADA system with a graphic display via network control panels.
